This could be a barn-burner. Ghana is arguably the best team in Africa, and Serbia is a world top 20 team that qualified strongly and has something to prove after their poor performance in the 2006 World Cup. Ghana will be hurt by the loss of Chelsea star Michael Essien to a knee injury, but they have the depth they’ll need to prevail here.
My prediction: Ghana.
